Michael Arrington is the founder and former co-editor of TechCrunch, Crunchbase, CrunchFund, partner at $100m hedge fund Arrington XRP Capital. Magazines such as Wired and Forbes have named Arrington one of the most powerful people on the Internet. In 2008, he was selected by TIME Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, graduated with a major in economics. After he graduated Stanford Law School he practiced corporate and securities law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Being a VC Michael invested in early stages of most successful tech companies such as Uber and Airbnb. Since he got involved in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space in 2017 he invested in crypto projects such as Filecoin, Propy, Enigma, Orchid, Aelf and others decentralised applications and protocols.
